claim your prizes!

Hey there folks! Just a quick note to remind you that you'll need to shoot me an email at vivienfrance [at] gmail [dot] com in order to claim your prize, if you haven't done so already! There are a few prizes that require some communication between the recipient and the donor, such as choosing a color, and others that can simply be sent over the internet, so I need your email addresses in order to put you in touch with the prize donors.

This week we'll be sending out cards to those we haven't heard from yet in case they aren't checking in to the website. If you receive a card, please don't hesitate to send an email right away so you can claim your prize!

Drum roll, please....

Before we get started, let me just say again how much I appreciate all the support we've had with our little charity project. I'm so proud that we were able to contribute in such a crafty way to such a worthy cause.

And now the part that you've all been waiting for - the actual drawing! Remember, you can click on the link "Fabulous Prizes!" in the sidebar to see the details of each prize.

The Two Trick Pony prize pack is awarded to Marikka!

The Futuregirl prize pack is awarded to Meryl!

The Rave Knits prize pack is awarded to Laura!

The Knitspot prize pack is awarded to Sybilla!

The Scout's Swag gift certificate is awarded to Gigi!

The Wisdom of the Moon prize is awarded to Sallie!

And last but not least... because there are only two other finalists, I didn't want them to be left out, so Mia and Alice will be receiving a small package from yours truly in France. It's the least I can do to make sure every one of you is properly thanked for your generosity and hard work!

First thing tomorrow I'll be connecting the sponsors with their appropriate winners. My sister gave me your mailing addresses but if the winners could please email me at vivienfrance[at]gmail[dot]com I can make sure everyone is in direct contact with whom they need to be in contact.

Thank you all again so much for your hard work!!

Vivi.

Prize Drawing Tomorrow!

Hey there! Sorry for the delay on the prize drawing, I've had to back it up a day due to technical difficulties. Be sure to come back tomorrow to see what you've won!

Nine set to turn in

Well, here they are! These nine lovely blankets are sitting in the trunk of my car as we speak. I'm going to turn them in at the auxiliary meeting tonight. The ladies are so excited to see them! They will be brought to the state convention later this month by our chapter's representatives, and they will be donated en masse to the Victory Junction Gang Camp.

Although the contest may be wrapping up, this does not mean I won't accept any more blankets. If you felt you couldn't make the contest deadline -- whether you started a blanket or not -- please do not let that stop you. If you would like to send your blanket to me, I promise that it will be sent to the camp. Or, if you'd like to send your work directly to the camp, please do! Please visit their Web site for individual donation instructions. (If you'll notice the piece of paper attached to Gigi's blanket in the picture, there's a form you can print out.)

I'd like to ask if anyone has a blanket en route, if you are going to send a blanket on to me in the future, or if you have sent a blanket and haven't seen a confirmation appear here, please shoot Vivi or me an e-mail, or post a note here. I'd like to make sure we have all the blankets accounted for that will be heading my way.

Another two-box day

Mia and Vivi! Your blankets have arrived. California is once again represented, this time by Mia, and Vivi, well, we all know she's living in France.

Mia's blanket has wonderfully bold thick stripes with thin black stripes connecting them. But I do have to report that I enjoyed Vivi's package much better. (Sis sent me some French Easter candies. YAY!!!! lol)

The Hogwarts blanket is awesome! I'm going to lay it out flat to see if I can get the edges to not fold in on themselves. To celebrate the arrival of Vivi's blanket, I've been listening to the Harry Potter books on CD at work. (tee hee!)
